Don’t force guests to drink or make fun of those who perfer not to drink.

E: If guests are mixing their own drinks, use standard measures, such as jiggers and one-ouqce bottle spouts, at the bar. Guests will be less likely to overpour.

F: Have a “last call” for alcohol about two hours before the party is over. Make the last drink you serve a brewed cup of coffee or other nonalcoholic drink.

Remember, neither coffee nor a cold shower is a quick fix to sober someone up. Only time will do that. Eet a guest who is still feeling “merry” sleep is off on your sofa.
