Commercial building also increased in 1994 according to the report. The building office issued five permits for new commercial buildings compared to three in 1993.
Mr. Burke notes that the amounts given for the value of buildings are low. He said very few permits were for moderate or low-income houses. One residential “multi-purpose" building will have a one-bedroom apartment and also a two-lane bowling alley and a recording studio/concert hall near Castleton.
