We’re proud that several in Amissville have volunteered to help build a house for “habitat for Humanity” project. Rappahannock coordinator Robert Darby advises Butch Zindel will be assistant construction manager; Forrest and Marty Whorton will do stonework; Gary Whorton will work on carpentry; Ron Frazier, electrical; and Roger Cordani, hauling. Little Shannon Nicole SchraderKeliy lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, she touched so many lives, our prayers are with family.
Our thoughts and prayers also are with Jim Wiles’ mother, Trudy Stockman. She will be undergoing heart bypass surgery at Fairfax Hospital.
We had our First snowfall (6 inches) of the season Saturday, sure was pretty. It was strange seeing robins in the snow. I hope none of our residents were involved in any mishaps on the roads.
