Mr. Jacobs was bom Oct. 8, 1902, in Rappahannock, son of the late Charles and Virginia Jacobs.
Mr. Jacobs was a retired fanner.
He was married to the late Irene Sites Jacobs.
Survivors include two sons, James Edward Jacobs of Amissville and Kenneth Ivar Jacobs of Reva; one daughter, Anna k. Weaver of Brightwood; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at Amissville Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Everett officiating.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers are Graham Hackleyu Kevin Walker, David Sheffield, Sammy Embrey, Paul Payne and L.H. Walker.
Memorial contributions may be made to Amissville Fire Department or the Amissville Baptist Church.

Maudie Sowers
Mrs. Maudie E. “Nannie” Sowers, 87, of Culpeper died Monday, Jan. 30 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
She w'as bom in Rappahannock County on June 25, 1907, the daughter of the late James and Sally Weaver Pullen.
She was the wife of the late Henry Sowers.
Mrs. Sowers w as a member of the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one son, Charles H. Sowers of Madison; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Fox, Mrs. Nellie Mae Jenkins and Mrs. Katie Jenkins, all of Culpeper; three brothers, Ray Pullen, Roy Pullen and Charlie Pullen, all of Culpeper; two sisters, Bessie Keyser of Culpeper and Virginia Libao of Washington; 25 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Jacobs Sowers.
