points. By the half, the Owls had extended the lead to 40-20 and Duffy was in foul trouble. WCDS Opened the second half with increased steam and rapidly increased their lead by 12 more points. Unable to contain the continued steals, blocked shots, and excellent rebounding of the Owls, the Marshall team lost ground and Miss Duffy fouled out early in the third quarter, having scored 16 points. The rest of the Marshall team pulled together and made a valiant effort, but failed to slow the WCDS charge. The final score, 60-30, w-as contributed to by Kristin Hickson’s 22 points, Colleen O’Donnell’s 19 and solid performances by each member of the team.
