Unable to contain the continued steals, blocked shots, and excellent rebounding of the Owls, the Marshall team lost ground and Miss Duffy fouled out early in the third quarter, having scored 16 points. The rest of the Marshall team pulled together and made a valiant effort, but failed to slow the WCDS charge. The final score, 60-30, w-as contributed to by Kristin Hickson’s 22 points, Colleen O’Donnell’s 19 and solid performances by each member of the team.
