Windmore

Auditions

Scheduld

Windmore’s Theatre Roundtable will hold auditions for their spring ‘95 theatre productions.

Two one-act plays written by Eugene Ionesco, most famous for his work in the theatre of the absurd, will be performed. “The Bald Soprano” directed by Alwin Heil, is a study in language and sentence structure. Alwin is seeking three male actors and three female actors.

There are two sets of married couples, ranging from 20 to 90 years of age. The second Ionesco piece is “The Lesson.” It highlights Ionesco’s skewed look at life between a professor and the pupil. The director of this piece, Jim Disbrow, is seeking a cast of up to twelve members.

Auditions will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17 in the Fellowship Hall of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, East Street (near Davis Street) in Culpeper. For more information contact Claudia at 5472555.
