Cedelmer Atkins
Cedelmer Mae Atkins, 71, of Culpeper died on Thursday, Feb. 9 at her residence.
A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Robert B. and Annie Lee Dwyer Jones.
She was the widow of Edward A. Atkins who died in 1974.
Mjs. Atkins attended the Assembly of God Church in Culpeper and loved working in the outdoors.
She is survived by three daughters, Betty Jean Settle, Dorothy Mee and Peggy Dodson, all of Culpeper; eight grandchildren, Ray Dodson Jr., Renee Dodson, Pamela Jean Settle, Patricia Ann Moore, Jerry Lynn Frazier, Tammy Ann Smith, Shyrl Ann Wilson and Debria Jean Munley and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Feb. 12 at Geest Funeral Home in Culpeper with the Rev. William Smith officiating.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper
Pallbearers were Melvin Dwyer, Andrew Smith, David Foard, David Hunt, Allen Fant and John Smith.
John Brown Jr.
John Silas Brown Jr., 58, of Culpeper, died on Thursday, Feb. 9 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
He vvas born in Culpeper County on Nov. 30, 1936.
He was employed by Corbin’s Shell Station and was a Veteran of the
93.8%
