Victims Rights Amendment

A proposed state constitutional amendment for victims' rights made its way through the House of Delegates last Tuesday.

The amendment, if enacted, would grant crime victims the right to address the circuit court during sentencing, to be advised of the offender’s release and to confer with the prosecutor.
