February According To The Almanack For February, the snowiest month, according to the Hagerstown Town and Country Almanack expect temperatures “below normal” with “above normal” precipitation. Weather watch: possible flurries, cold temps (17-21), followed by snow, or rain (22-24) and heavy snow or rain (25,26), the month ending fair, cold (27,28). Tornado Watch: No activity of this nature during this period. Full Moon: Known as the Snow Moon, though others refer to it as the Trapper’s Moon (even the Hunger Moon) occurs at 7:15 a.m. EST on the 15th. Remember Lincoln’s Birthday on the 12th and Washington’s on the 22nd, though both are celebrated on President’s Day, the 20th.
