Carroll Williams
Miss Carroll Williams, 89 , of the Lynn Care Center in Front Roydl and formerly of Washington died Tuesday, Feb. 14.
She was for over 30 years a teacher in the Rappahannock County school system teaching in Washington and Scrabble grade schools. In addition to her teaching career she was for many years the clerk of the First Baptist Church in Washington and a member of the choir.
She was born in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late John Lovell Williams and Louemma S. W'illiams.
She is survived by two brothers, John J. Williams of Washington and Joseph L. Williams of Montclair, N.J.; a sister, Susan L. Williams of Montclair, N.J.; a foster brother, Lewis Butler of Sperryvilie; a niece, nephew and grandnieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by W.C. Thompson in Culpeper. Plans were incomplete at press time.
