Blooming potted plants were specified as the horticulture exhibit for the meeting with blue ribbons going to Beth DeBergh and Celine Siira. Artistic arrangements were to illustrate song titles and blue ribbons winners were Celine Siira’s “Mood Indigo” and Helen Brown’s “Smoke Get In Your Eyes.”

Hostesses for the meeting were Sally Havstad, Virginia Scott, and Helen (Mrs. Todd) Smith.

Way To Begin

Funding Process

The Piedmont United Way will begin it’s 1995-96 funding process in March. The Allocation process is open to any 501 (c) (3) non-profit, health and human service organization with a direct benefit to Culpeper, Fauquier, Orange, Madison and Rappahannock County residents.

An organization may apply for United Way funding by picking up an application at 129 East Davis Street in Culpeper for completion by Feb. 28.
