The Registrar, Mrs. Dale Metzinger, reported a present membership of 97 with two new ones having joined at the last meeting.
Committee chairpersons worked on their annual reports which were to be returned to the Regent by Jan. 15.
The chairman of the Nominating Committee, Mrs. Dale Metzinger, presented the slate of officers for the new term. With no additional nominations from the floor, the slate was accepted as read.
The Feb. 14 meeting was a Dutch treat luncheon at the Holiday Inn in Culpeper at 11 a.m. with the program being “The Challenge in the Literacy Program” to be presented by Mrs. Arthur F. Stocker, State Chairman of the Literacy program.
