They have both been RSVP volunteers with the Aging division of Rappahannock Rapidan CommunityServices Board since 1983. RSVP volunteer coordinator Jeanie McNIear said that one of Mr. Gottlieb’s most valuable roles has been his involvement with elderly people. He looks in on them to see if they need anything, and provides friendship.
