Lena Elliot

Lena Mae Jenkins Elliot, 71, of Culpeper, died on Thursday, Feb. 9 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.

She was born Aug. 6, 1923, in Rappahannock County to the late James Wesley Jenkins and Elizabeth Deal Jenkins.

Mrs. Elliott is survived by one daughter, Nancy Elliott Clatterbuck and her husband, Charles of Fairfax City; one sister, Janie J. Tuel of Charlottesville and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Drew Elliott, four brothers, Clyde P. Jenkins, James T. Jenkins, Edgar L. Jenkins and Richard K. Jenkins and four sisters, Lillie Martin, Bertha C. Westmoreland, Rosa J. Huffman and Eva F. Jenkins.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Found & Sons Chapel with the Rev. Everett McCormick officiating.

Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery.

Found & Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
