Residents of Rappahannock can now send flowers anywhere in the world by calling a local florist in Flint Hill.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Donna Brune of Persimmon Springs Farm is now set up with the wire service Florafax International. For a year, she will try out the wire service, which she hooked up to in January, to see if there is a need in Rappahannock. She believes there is, as residents in the past have had to contact florists in Warrenton, Culpeper or Front Royal to Wire flowers.
