John Trott of Flint Hill will be speaking and showing his photographs of birds at the Library at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, in a program called “The World of Virginia Birds.”
Mr. Trott, a botanist with a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, has been a life-long teacher and photographer whose work illustrates both The Audubon Society's Book of Wild Birds of the World and Birds of the Carolinas. He has lived and worked in North Carolina, Florida and Texas and traveled to photograph birds in Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico and Canada. Most of his teaching career was in Alexandria and McLean where
