The board, staff and volunteers of Hospice of the Rapidan assembled at their annual meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 24, to welcome a new director and honor outstanding volunteers.
Established in 1983, Hospice of the Rapidan provides skilled medical care and support for terminally ill patients and their families in Culpeper, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties, and serves Fauquier residents in cooperation with Hospice Support of Fauquier.
To open the meeting, president of the board Pat W. Bankhead introduced Patricia Tuffy, R.N., who recently began working in her new position as executive director of the organization.
