Stephen Hawkins Documentary

The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) will present the British documentary, “A Brief History of Time,” at The Theatre at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16. The Errol Morris film is based on the book by Stephen Hawking, the disabled cosmologist, who has become a worldwide cult figure.

Kevin Hartnett, NASA physicist and astronomer at Goddard Space Flight Center, will introduce the documentary and answer question after the presentation. Tickets can be purchased at the door of The Theatre at $5 for adults and $3 for children.

Soccer Registration Underway

Spring soccer registration forms have been distributed to all RCES students. Forms can also be picked up at the Boston Store, Hackley’s Mountainside Market, Cabin Fever Book’s and Settle’s Grocery.

Fees are $20 per child. Completed forms and registration fees can be dropped off at the RCES Office or Cabin Fever Books. See registration form for mail in option.

Rappahannock Soccer League would like to complete registration by the end of February, so don’t delay! Registration questions can be answered by Lorinda Bosch at 636-3580 or Susan Parrish at 675-1300.
