was a “truth in easements” bill, requiring that conservation easements disclose the limitations and obligations created in the easement. House Bill 1210 would ensure market value compensation when a law or regulation diminishes one’s property value by, more than 20 percent. I am proud to' introduce this legislation on behalf of Virginia’s farmers, as these are bills that restore fundamental rights to ownership of private property granted' by the Fifth Amendment in pur Constitution.

Another piece of legislation on which I was proud to be a co-patron is' House Bill 1118 which would study guidelines for restoring the recitation of the pledge of allegiance to the American flag in our public schools.
