Attendance is not required in order to bid on the work herein described. No prequalification is required for this contract.
All bids should be submitted on a form (included with the General Terms and Conditions documents) dearty identifying the company providing the service, be signed by the principal of the firm, and shall note any exclusions or limitations. The basis for the bid shaft also be stated; for this agreement, a per gallon price shall be used. Aft fees for treatment of the hauled wastewater shall be the responsibility of Rappahannock County. All bids must be received at the County Administrator’s Office, Old Extension Office, 290 Gay Street, P.O. Box 519, Washington, VA 22747 by Friday. February 23, 1996, by 10:00 am, at which time they will be opened and publicly read.
The term of the contract shall be for twelve months, from March 1, 1996 through Feb 28, 1997, but may be extended for two additional twelve (12) months periods-upon agreement of both parties. The terms of Competitive Sealed Bidding as set forth in the Virginia Public Procurement Act shall apply. The County reserves the right lo m obtain alternate leachate disposal solutions (on-site treatment & dispbsal, etc.) should tiwy become available.
