As we approach crossover weekend, I have the pleasure of watching many of our bills move their way through the chambers. While others have yet to be introduced, Fauquier’s tax map legislation (HB 604), Rappahannock’s paper ballots (HB 606), and Warren county’s Fresh start legislation (HB 1211) are shuffling their way through to approval. Statewide initiatives awaiting Senate approval are the designation of November as Amefican Indian month and a resolution to form a bipartisan committee to study the composite index formula.
On behalf of the Virginia Farm Bureau, 1 introduced three property rights initiatives this week: HB 1208, HB 1209, and HB 1210.
