Before anyone could speak on the issue of coaching positions Superintendent David Gangel said the school has to follow the rules of the Virginia High School League. He said the policy states that "coaches and sponsors shall be certified teachers regularly employed. There are ' exceptions if you cannot meet these. We have provided an additional position for an assistant soccer coach," he said.
Carl Letsen said he has seven children, two graduated, two in elementary school and two in high school now. "The reason I'm here is I'm pretty upset by replacing Kenny Rogers as [soccer] coach. He has coached for 10 years. He learned from UI1....I understand you asked him to be an assistant. To me that's an insult. Why not have the other coach start with the JV and work
