Animal Club, which is continuing fro 1996-97.

4-H is an educational organization for all children sponsored by the Virginia Cooperative Extension Service and volunteer 4-H leaders. We have some very talented parents and other adults who donate their time and their talents to serve as 4-H leaders.

All clubs meet monthly for an educational program. Also members take fieldtrips and hold fundraisers arid other fun activities throughout the year.

Rappahannock's 4-H clubs include:

4-H Cooking and Crafts Club — This group meets at the Extension Office on die second Wednesday, 3:30 to 5 p.m. under the leadership of Judi Burke. They do cooking one month and a craft activity the next month. On October 9 they took a field trip to Mel
