The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, NSDAR, met on September 10 at the. Culpeper United Methodist Church in Culpeper with the Regent, mrs. Irvin R. Kilby presiding. Hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs. Claude I. Guinn, Mrs. Vincent R. Beasley and Mrs. Marvin C. Goff.

In her message to DAR members, read by Mrs. Douglas D. Fairfax, the President General, Mrs. Kemper, urged all to be responsible for promoting quality education for the children within one’s community. Also, she urged all to celebrate Constitution week, September 17-23, and to remember that the founding fathers created the constitutional foundation for the greatest nation in the history of the world.
