Extension Agtat— 4-H ! As we celebrate National 4-H Week, I'd like to report on several exciting things happening here in Rappahannock County. ; One of our continuing goals in 4H is to involve more youth in educaiional clubs and to involve the youth who participate in 4-H camp and day tamp in the year-round 4-H program.
There are several types of 4-H clubs: a project club where children learn about one topic such as livestock or gardening; a community club where children study several topics and conduct community service projects; and Cloverbud clubs for children ages 6 to 8 years, who are really pre-4-H age. the Cloverbuds meet monthly for an a&t or craft project or another topic that interests them.
