Direct from its sell-out run in Washington, D.C., The Keegan Theatre Company brings its production of Eric Overmyer’s comedy “On The Verge” to The Theatre at Washington, Va. Two performances are scheduled in Little Washington: Saturday, March 14 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 15 at 3 p.m.
The play follows the adventures of three daring ladies of the 1880s who set out to explore “Terra Incognita.” To their amazement, the trek rapidly transports them into the America of the 1950s as they journey through time as well as space.
This production has received several excellent reviews. The Washington Post described the play itself as “Witty, ironic, literate and adventurous, not to mention intensely theatrical,” and went on to say “Better yet, the
