In the early days of the Christian Church, healing of sin, disease and in some instances even death, were common and fundamental to •tjie practice of Christianity. By ,300 to 400 AD, however, healing began to fall by the wayside.
Today amongst Christian churches there is a renewed interest in healing as the early Christians practiced it. Some have special services dedicated to healing. It is not uncommon to pick up major newspapers and read about such healings by several denominations. Today’s focus on alternative health care has also called attention to this basic tenet of the Christian Church.
Many today know that healing sin, disease, relationship and business problems, 'based on the words and works of Jesus Christ is possible. The Church of Christ, Scientist, whose members are known as Christian Scientists, has been in the forefront of this return to basic Christian healing for
