He is survived by two sisters Gladys Willis and Grace Yowell, both of Culpeper and six grandchildren Hugh D. Yowell, Donna Y. Staton, Tracy N. Jenkins and Gail G. Grigsby, all of Culpeper, Angela W. Gray of Tennessee and Melinda L. MacDonald of Washington.
Additional survivors include one daughter-in-law Marie G. Yowell of Culpeper; one nephew Carl Yowell of Maryland and five great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Monday at Fairview Cemetery officiated by the Rev. John Miller.

Herbert “Jibo” Daniel Williams, 72, of Chester Gap died Thursday, Feb. 26 in the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
Mr. Williams was born May 25, 1925 in Rappahannock, the son of the late Beverly Garfield and Gussie Williams.
Mr. Williams was a carpenter; served in the United States Army during World War II; member of the V.F.W. Post 1860 and Giles B. Cook Post 53 of the American Legion of Front Royal and
