Milton Settle

Viewtown resident

Milton William Settle, 63, of Viewtown died on Sunday, Feb. 22 at his residence. , He was born in Rappahannock County on Aug. 7, 1935.

He was retired from Rental Uniform Service and attended Calvary Baptist Church.

His parents were the late Granville Lee Settle and Elsie Mae Settle.

Survivors include one brother Ralph Randolph Settle of Marshall; cousins Stanley F. Settle of Amissville and Gladys S. Aylor of Brightwood.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 28 at Calvary Baptist Church in Culpeper with the Rev. Charles Shifflett officiating. Interment was in Forest Grove Cemetery in Viewtown.

Pallbearers were Thomas Tear, Wilbur James, Woody Woodard, Dickie Latham, Bobby Jarrells, Ted Pechie, Larry Jenkins and Eddie Young.

Contributions may be made to the Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 258 Forest Grove Road, Amissville, Va. 20106, in the name of Milton William Settle.

Clore-Geest Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
