The Rappahannock High School varsity boys basketball team travelled to Orange County last Wednesday night Tor a Region B Quarter Final match against Amelia County.
Despite a strong effort by the Panthers, and loud sup' port from the Panther travelling cheering section, the game was lost 81/63.
The game opened with a flurry of scoring by Amelia, who jumped to an early 9/0 lead. Not to be intimidated, , the Panthers fought back to tie the game at 9/9, and finished the first period leading 20/19.
