St. Patrick’s Day celebration will be held (»asis Winery on Saturday, March 14 from 11 a m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy authentic live Irish music on stage at the Oasis Winery in honor of the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day while tasting and sampling wines and complimentary hor d’oeuvres. Rappahannock Healing Arts will sponsor the following activities:
A ten week Herbal Medicine Series will be held March 17 through May 26. Herbalist Kathleen Maier will teach the series based on British Master Herbalist David Hoffman’s therapeutic herbalism course. You will learn how to make simple preparations and tea blends for all the systems. Each class will cover anatomy and physiology, materia medica and healthy alternatives for family health care. Due to the nature of the course, it is strongly recommended that the series be attended as a whole. Course fee is $200. Space is limited, so reserve your place by sending a non-refundable check for $50 payable to Kathleen Maier. Classes will be held Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9.
