Board president E. Franklin Warner noted that the Friday night programs are well attended and that groups using the Jamieson Room should inform the library as to the number of people who will be attending.
Treasurer Helen Platt noted in her report the donations made to the library and said the towel service bill seems a bit high considering the amount they pay the cleaning service which cleans the rest of the library — $45 as opposed to $150 per month.
The cleaning service has made what Warner termed a modest request for an increase and the board agreed to that but the towel service cost will be investigated.
Platt said the library’s income should exceed the budget and that they are still waiting for the Gordon estate funds
