Boy Scout Troop 200 of Flint Hill has completed another year of scouting. The troop was established three years ago, with five scouts and two leaders. Troop 200 now consists of 13 scouts and three leaders. Keeping active the entire year is the main objective of the troop. The troop has been busy this year with service projects, fund raisers and camping and hiking outings.
Service projects, which the troop participated in, during the last year, include: The American Cancer Society Walk-a-thon; Flint Hill Fireman’s Carnival; VDOT Adopt-a-Road Program; Boy Scout Food Drive; a clothes drive for the Rappahannock Social Services; and the Christmas Adopt-a-Family Program for the Rappahannock Social Services. Troop 200 also held fund raisers to purchase much needed equipment, and to help send the scouts to the Boy -Scouts of America Summer Camp. These fund raisers include the annual
