While driving through the
county lately it seems that the beauty of Rappahannock is being besieged by a Beaver Syndrome. The wanton destruction of our local forests.
I can understand the logging process, but this so called strip cutting, leaving behind the leavings or toppings, and the destruction of secondary trees is ludicrous. The once beautiful forests look like a war zone.
Some states already are utilizing laws that require most companies to clean up their leavings or toppings.
