This program differs from the old Agricultural Conservation Program. For example, the FSA will no longer accept annual applications fqr lime, fertilizer, and seed on ju^t one field. Under the new program they will offer five to $) year contracts that can provide up to 75 percent cost-sharing for conservation practices. An individual may receive up to $10,000 per year up to 'a $50,000 limit per contract. 1
Priority will be given to those with soil erosion and livestock waste problemp. Interested producers should contact the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District. Natural Resources Conservation Service, or the Farm Service Agency for
