Walter Andrew Stickley, 71, of Vienna died Sunday, ]\fay 24 at the Cameron Glen Care Center in Reston. '! Funeral services were conducted Friday, May 29 from the Stover Funeral Home in Strasburg by the Rev. Harold E. Barnett. Burial followed at Panorama Memorial Gardens in Waterlick.
Mr. Stickley was born Dec. 28, 1920 in Strasburg, the son of the late Turner Andrew and Hattie Lillian Lowery Stickley. He was a member of the Mathias Church of the Brethren, Mathias, W.Va. He was an inspector for the FAA for the past 20 years, an electrical engineer for Capital and United Airlines for 23 years.
He was the husband of the late Eula J3yrdene Strawderman. He was preceded in death by two sisters Lucille Stickley Altman and Kathryn Stickley.
Surviving are one daughter Karen L. Bear of Washington; one son James A. Stickley of Aiea, Hawaii; two sisters Edna Elizabeth Hardy of Dunn Loring and Maxine Hopewell Hardy of Columbia, Md.
