Peggy R. Burke, 56 of Culpeper died June 1 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 27, 1941 in Rappahannock County, to the late Essie Dodson Burke and Brew Burke, Jr.
Ms. Burke is survived by one sister Lottie F. Thornhill of Boston and one brother Ronald H. Burke of Brightwood. She is also survived by three nieces, Lynn Burke of Orange, Pamela Burke of Charlottesville and Lou Ellen Jenkins of Boston.
A graveside service was held Wednesday, June 3 in Etlan Cemetery with Rev. John McKay officiating.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to Found & Sons Funeral Home, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Va. 22701.
Found & Sons of Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
