Acreage reports are now being accepted by the Culpeper/Rappahannock County FSA Office. Crops required to be reported are: •Fruits and vegetables planted on farms receiving benefits under a Production Flexibility Contract; any crop for which a commodity loan or LDP is required; CRP acreage in accordance with the CRP-1 Appendix; EQIP acreage according to EQIP appendix.
Any other acreage planted on the farm is not required to be reported by producers, however, the county office will accept a report of any acreage planted on the farm if a producer wishes to report such acreage in order to maintain a history of farm plantings. ; Acreage reporting dates are:
June 30 — All other crops on the farm except grain sorghum
July 15 — Grain Sorghum
