Monarchs fall
to Edinburg
Edinburg defeated the Rappahannock Monarchs in a game held Sunday to determine which team would rank in first place. Edinburg topped the Monarchs 14-9 to take the honor.
Leading the offense for Rappahannock was Jon Diggs with a home run. Brian Hackley had a home run and a single and William Parker added two singles.
The Monarchs next face Broadway at Broadway on Sunday, June 7 at 1 p.m. in a doubleheader.
