Susan Schafer Updike, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schafer of Sperryville received her B.S. degree at commencement exercises June 1, 1968 at Radford College. She is a graduate of Rappahannock High School. Sgt. Daniel C. Clater received a citation and the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service with the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
