A record graduating class of 825 received degrees recently at Madison College in Harrisonburg. Among them was Miss Janet Edna Yates, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Yates of Sperryville. Winners of the patriotic essay contest sponsored by Amissville Ruritan Club have been announced. Ronald Parker of Amissville was named winner among 39 entries, receiving $10.
