Board meeting set
The December board of directors meeting for Headwaters, the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation, will take place Monday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Extension Office. The meeting is open to the public.

Foundation gives
easement
The Public Welfare Foundation has granted to the Virginia Outdoors Foundation an open space easement covering its 51-acre property on Long Mountain east of Washington. Recorded on Nov. 29, this easement is the first in that area of the county. Total easement protection in Rappahannock now stands at 8885 acres.
