James Jenkins

James Haywood Jenkins, 88, of Fredericksburg died Thursday, Dec. 2 of complications from pneumonia at Fredericksburg Nursing Home.
Mr. Jenkins worked at Hansford-Abel Farms in Stafford as a farmer.
He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Lucy Margaret Jenkins and a daughter, Lucy Mae Stiles.
Survivors include three sons, Elmer H. Jenkins of Fredericksburg, James C. Jenkins of Stafford and Roger L. Jenkins of Spotsylvania; five daughters, Hazel V. Jeffries of Stafford, Mary H. Kenny of Conway, S.C., Maggie Skinner and Margie J. Merryman, both of Spotsylvania and Peggy Curtis of Fredericksburg; 26 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 15 great-greatgrandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Holly Dodson of Culpeper, Margaret Jenkins of Front Royal and Lucille Rutherford of Castleton and two brothers, George Jenkins and Ennis Jenkins, both of Sperryville.
Funeral services were conducted at Found & Sons in Fredericksburg on Sunday,
