Band to perform Winter Concert
The award winning Rappahannock High School and Middle School Bands will perform their Winter Concert oh Thursday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County High School. This is a free concert, open to all. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. For more information call John Wiese at 937-9909.
Celebration at Belle Meade
The annual Winter’s Solstice Celebration will occur at Belle Meade Bed and Breakfast on Wednesday, Dec. 22 starting at 5 p.m. Please bring food or drink to share. The celebration will occur indoors and outdoors with a bonfire. Belle Meade is located at 353 F.T. Valley Road south of Sperryville, 987-9748.
Christmas Carol concert set
The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) and the Theatre at Washington invite the community to a special concert of carols by the Montpelier Singers on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 4 p.m. at The Theatre on Gay Street in Washington. As a gift to the community, RAAC and The Theatre are offering the concert at no charge (though donations would be welcomed), and reservations are not required.
