Eighteen more days until Santa comes! You better be getting your list ready! Speaking of Christmas, Amber and I went to the Amy Grant Christmas Concert on Friday, along with Lu and Lisa Morrison and children, Carrington and Cathy Lou Smith and their daughter and son-in-law and children, Lisa and Emma Clough and Caroline Green. It was a real great time.
Food prices at the MCI Center were outrageous. The Metro ride was an experience and. our seats at the concert were close to God. I thought we were going to fall every time I stood up. Next year if we go, we will get tickets in section 200 not 400.
In keeping with the true nieaning of Christmas, let’s reach out to our friends and neighbors that are less fortunate than us. The Amissville annual drive is now in full swing.
Anyone wishing to participate can do so by leaving can food or money in the containers located at most places of business in our area. When we give from our hearts, no matter how small the gift, we have found the true meaning of Christmas.
