Edith Wigington

Mrs. Edith Mabel Wigington, 72, of Sperryville died on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.

She was a homemaker.

She was predeceased by her two youngest sons, Kenneth A. Wigington and William Wayne Wigington.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Wigington Sr.; Five children, Thomas S. Wigington Jr., James R. Wigington Sr., Samuel H. Wigington, Carolyn A. Roberts and Edith A. Haney; 13 grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren.

Also surviving are one sister and four brothers.

Funeral services were conducted ait Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville on Saturday, Dec. 4 with the Rev. M. Tinsley of Aroda officiating. The Rev. Henry Townes of Culpeper delivered the eulogy. Interment was in the church cemetery. W.C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
