Mr. Pankow is a horse dentist who bought property in Rappahannock County nearly 16 years ago. He is from Maine. And Mrs. Pankow is from Baltimore, Md. After they married, the couple came j to the county and built a log cabin for their home. The cabin is featured in a book, The Log Home Book, which can be bought at the store.
They have two girls, Christine, 6, and Kimberley, 3. Both girls ride the Pankow’s pony which is stabled at Ashtree Stables. And Christine is in the pony club, which meets every Sunday during riding weather.
