PUBLIC HEARING: AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING CHAPTER and to the SUBDIVISION CHAPTER OF THE RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY CODE The Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County shall hold a public hearing on the following proposed amendments to the Rappahannock County Code on Wednesday, January 5, 2000, at 7:00 p.m. at the Courthouse in Washington, VA. The following proposed amendments are to Chapter 147: 1. ) Amend §147-5 by adding after "agent" in the final sentence, "and the Commission". 2. ) Amend §147-21 D (1) (b) by replacing "five lots" with "three lots" and replacing seven years" with "ten years". 3. ) Amend §147-37 by replacing Minimum lot size "25" and "25" in the "C" and "A" columns with "5" and "2", respectively. 4. ) Amend §147-37 bv deleting in Minimum lot size line "Special exception condition or", leaving "family transfer**" and by deleting all information in columns to the right of this language and by deleting entirely from note "**" all except second sentence. 5. ) Amend § 147-58 B., by adding a new sentence at the end of the section, to read "Any subdivision of more than three lots shall be reviewed by the Commission, subdivisions of three lots or fewer may be reviewed by the agent". 6. ) Amend §147-64, by adding, at the end of the first sentence," which authority the governing body may delegate to its agent". The following proposed amendments are to Chapter 170: 1) Amend §170-36 A. by deleting "SE" from line "Residential lot development greater than 3 lots cumulative since 9-7-1973" and replace with "P”. In addition, delete all language after "Residential lot development. 2. ) Amend §170-37 by replacing Minimum lot size "25" and "25" in the “C” and "A" columns with "5" and ”2", respectively. 3. ) Amend §170-37 by deleting in the Minimum lot size line "Special exception condition or family transfer**" and by deleting all information in columns to the right of this language and by deleting entirely note "**". 4. ) Amend §170-53 by deleting entirely section "B". 5. ) Amend §170-62 by deleting entirely "A" and ”B". These amendments will be considered by the Rappahannock County Planning Commission at their regular meeting of December 15, 1999, at 7:00 p.m. at the Courthouse in Washington, VA.
