I find it very difficult to discern why anyone would want to
point out to the Rappahannock News that I was not in attendance at a particular meeting, (Report on meeting by the Board of Supervisors Nov. 10, re athletic field, Rappahannock News Nov. 17). I have attended many meetings of the Board of Supervisors and I cannot believe anyone would little note, nor long remember that fact alone. Now, to take note of the fact that I was not in attendance, would seem to me to be extraordinarily strange, unless someone was implying that I was somehow shirking a duty, (Really??!!).
Let me set the record straight. I am not a member of the School Board, and therefore did not believe any useful purpose would be served by my attendance.
