General guidance? Use regular print film or slide film. Prints up to 8” by 12” are best so as to fit in manila envelopes for archiving. Most photos will be small, 5” by 7” or so. Be sure to date and identify what’s in each photo, e.g., the names of people and places, or what was going on. Next time: other recording ideas, such as videotaping, digital photography, oral history on tape, possible aerial photography sponsored by a patron or group of county organizations, etc.
